Conductor D Turns 3
Posted on July 3, 2011
Thanks to a wonderful referral by Send In The Clowns, and the fantastic trust of D’s mom, I was able to capture amazing moments as D and his family celebrated his third birthday at Travel Town.
With the amazing cupcake/cake tower talents of Blue Cupcake, the absolutely entertaining StorytimeFunLand and Sam Shazam and the remarkable balloon structures by The Wacko Show, fun was had by all (including me!). Travel Town never disappoints with their beautiful retired and antique train cars, not to mention the charming ride you get to take on a mini train throughout the park. And of course, with the wonderful touches by Send In The Clowns‘ fantastic staff, the kids were treated to train building and decorating stations and so many more wonderful touches. All the magical gems available to birthday parties would be unknowns if it weren’t for Send In The Clowns‘ fantastic database of vendor recommendations.
D was surrounded by friends and family while he rang in his 3rd birthday at Travel Town Museum. Every guest had an amazing time and every non-guest who walked by the party was insanely jealous of all the details and hard work that D’s mom put into the party.

2010 Year in Review
Posted on January 1, 2011
It is my sincere honor and pleasure to be a part of your parties. I love the moments, the magic, the laughter and the pure joy of adults and children during those chaotic and delightful two hours of birthday celebration.
Thank you to all of my wonderful clients who have helped bring joy into my life in 2010 with their wonderful parties. It is truly an honor that I cannot put into words that you allow me to share your birthday celebrations with you.
It’s impossible for me to narrow down what photos are my favorites, but here are the ones that immediately come to mind.
And I’d be foolish not to thank a few very special people who have made my 2010 an absolute dream come true:
- SeNd In ThE cLoWnS :: A party planning service that does everything from sending a character to your home, to a full out kit and kaboodle party that is a feast for the eyes.
- Blue Cupcake :: Most of the amazing pastries/cupcakes/cakes you see me sharing are from the magicians at Blue Cupcake.
- Deborah Baker, Jr. :: My absolutely dear friend, beautiful inside and out, who stepped in as a camera assistant and has blown me away at her perspective and talent.
- My parents :: Who have stepped in to watch my dear little twins while I spend hours with your dear littles.

Life is a Circus When You Are Turning 2
Posted on November 14, 2010
I was invited into a lovely home in the hills today to help celebrate a sweet little boy, Q, turn 2.
A fantastic party, thanks to the referral from Send in the Clowns – any party that gets Molly the Clown is a lucky party. With an elephant/circus theme this party was fun for everyone! There was a simply adorable cake from Hansen’s Cakes that was as delicious on the inside as it looked on the outside.
The food was outstanding, an amazing buffet of carne asada and chicken (and all the trimmings) that rivaled any other that I’ve ever eaten (and also made me rethink the traditional Turkey Dinner for Thanksgiving). The folks at Casablanca Restaurant & Catering Services really outdid themselves with this spread.
I was so lucky to be surrounded by so many loving and attentive parents. The day was filled with laughter and love and that’s the kind of afternoon I enjoy.

John Deere Dreamed of a Party Like This
Posted on November 8, 2010
While my camera assistant and I drove through the rolling hills of Sherwood Lake we were equally awestruck and jealous of the rolling hills of green, surrounded by mountains around us, lakes between, and gorgeous ranches everywhere.
As we pulled into the gorgeous Shadow Oaks Ranch it took all of our restraint not to giggle with delight. As we got closer we saw all the wonderful details that Send In The Clowns had already begun, starting with the amazing balloon creation by Balloon Creations that embodied the birthday boy who was celebrating his 2nd birthday that day.
All of the baked goods were the delicious creations of Blue Cupcake. Wonderful cake-pops, the most amazing individual cobblers, cupcakes, cakes, and so much more. And with the magic touch of Leesa and her crew at Send In The Clowns, everything little detail, every style element, each candy, treat and decor, a mercantile was born.
One of the draws was a giant “Super Slide”. A draw for kids and adults alike. The only bummer was that I didn’t go down it myself! Towering above us all, guests walked up the long flight of stairs with their magic blankets only to come careening down with squeals and laughter.
With the absolutely magical and enchanting musical entertainment by The Hollow Trees that had my face hurting from smiling, we all rejoiced in watching all the children sing, dance, and play imaginary and non-imaginary instruments along with the band. And don’t let me forget to mention watching the lead singer Do-Si-Do with Elmo, one of the invited guests that Send In The Clowns personally made sure arrived safely (with overalls and cowboy hat!).
What an amazing and visually beautiful party to be a part of. I am so thankful that people like Send In The Clowns trust our work and refer us to these fabulous new clients!
